Manager Application Form

Please use the following form if you are interested in applying to be a manager for the upcoming CTWL season. Those interested must be meet the following requirements:

  • Be between the ages of 14 and 21 (as of May 1st, 2021). 

  • Be a resident of the State of Connecticut (CT)

Managers may apply for co-manager roles with one (1) other person, who must also meet the requirements above.

During your registration, you will need to supply the following items in a photo format (starred items must be in .png, .jpeg, or .pdf format):

  • Proposed Team Name

    • Your team name must include a location which is relevant to the town/neighborhood/field in which your team will play out of​

    • Example of Acceptable Team Name: Augerville Defenders (Hometown: Hamden)

      • Augerville is the name of a neighborhood in Hamden​

    • Example of NOT Acceptable Team Name: Torrential Cyclones (Hometown: Milford)​

      • Torrential is not related to any location in the Town of Milford​

  • Proposed Team Concept Logo/Branding*​​

    • Due to merchandise rule, the league requires that all logos and team branding is either self-created or created using art elements in the public domain (unlicensed artwork). To avoid a possible redesign of a logo, please consider designing your own unique logo and branding when applying.​

  • Proposed Team Concept Jersey Design*

    • Due to merchandise rule, the league requires that all logos and team branding, especially when used on team uniforms, is either self-created or created using art elements in the public domain (unlicensed artwork). To avoid a possible redesign of a logo, please consider designing your own unique logo and branding when applying.​

Also, you must list the tenative location of where your team will be playing. If possible, please provide the following information:

  • Field Location (Building, Address, etc.)

  • Image of Field (w/ Dimensions Labeled or Noted)

It is preferred that the starred materials are submitted as screenshots or regular pictures from another application, NOT pictures of a computer screen or mobile device.

Being unable to see all players' skills, we would suggest that teams with pre-determined rosters send in game and/or practice footage from any previous competition(s) you have recently been a part of. This footage will help to gauge the talent of applying teams and make in-game comparisons to the talent currently available in the league.

Applications for managerial positions will be open from December 20th, 2020 - January 15th, 2021. Applications with conflicting responses or that are submitted after January 15th, 2021 will be invalid and will not be considered.

Applicants that are accepted to become managers for the 2021 season will be notified by email and/or text message by Monday January 25th, 2021, and managers will be officially announced to the public shortly thereafter.

The Connecticut Wiffle Ball League is a fastpitch wiffle ball league based in southern Connecticut and founded in 2019. The league holds no legal trademarks, and the names, nicknames, logos, uniform designs, color combinations, and all other team related content are the property/responsibility of the respective CTWL club. World Series, American League, National League, Division Series, League Championship Series, and All-Star Game are trademarks of Major League Baseball.
