2019 Fall Developmental League Postponed By One Week

In order to get more registrants and more teams, the 2019 CTWL Fall Developmental League's official starting date will be pushed back one week, with the season officially kicking off next Sunday, October 6th, 2019. All games will remain at Ridge Road Elementary School.
For those players that are in the registration phase, here is the official schedule for the entire season given the recent changes:
September 20th: Registration Opens
October 2nd: Registration Ends
October 3rd: Draft/Teams Selected
October 5th: Payment Due (Cash ONLY)
October 6th: Week 1 Games
October 13th: Week 2 Games
October 20th: Week 3 Games
October 27th: Week 4 Games
November 3rd: Week 5 Games
November 9th: All-Star Game (Week 6)
November 9th-10th: Postseason Tournament (Week 6)
"We want to open up this league with as many different people as possible..." commented league commissioner Ben Fiore ahead of the decision to postpone the season's start. "...this is our first major event as a league, so we are trying to get the word out as quickly and as effectively as possible while bringing in enough players to sustain a healthy and competitve league. So far this has not been the case, and we are working every single day to ensure that we meet our goal and bring competitive wiffleball to the state of Connecticut."
