Norwalk and Stamford Join The CT Wiffle® Family

With the start of every Wiffle®Ball season, more and more people are introduced to the sport. For some, it is just a way to spend time with friends. For others, it is a way to settle the score with old rivals under the bright lights. Both of these statements can be applied to the unique nature of backyard Wiffle®Ball leagues, and 2022 has seen the beginning of two leagues here in Connecticut.

The Norwalk Family Wiffleball League (NFWL) is an 8-team medium pitch, baserunning league located in Norwalk, Connecticut. The league consists of middle school and high school age players, who play a weekly schedule throughout the summer. 2022 is the NFWL's inaugural season. The league is the second league to form in the Town of Norwalk, creating a natural rivalry with the SoNo Wiffle Ball League founded in 2019.

The NFWL can be followed all season long on Instagram.

The Stamford Wiffleball League (SWBL) is a 4-team, medium-fast pitch, baserunning league located in Stamford, Connecticut. The league consists of middle school age players, who feature both a spring and summer season in 2022. This year will mark the SWBL's first active year, with the spring season in the postseason at the time of publication. The SWBL is the first known Wiffle®Ball league for the City of Stamford.

The SWBL can be followed all season long on Instagram.

Both these leagues provide some great youth competition. We cannot wait to see them compete, evolve, and leave their mark on Connecticut's young Wiffle® scene. Welcome to the CT Wiffle® family!
